Electing TMU Faculty as the president of the Iran Mining Engineering Association

Dr. AhmadReza Sayadi, faculty member of technical and engineering faculty was selected as the head of the Iran Mining Engineering Association. Through holding the annual general meeting of the Iran Mining Engineering Association, new members of the directors? board were elected for three years, and at the first meeting of the ninth directors? administrative, Dr. AhmadReza Sayadi was elected as the chairman of the board.

Dr. AhmadReza Sayadi has got his bachelor from Isfahan Technology University and he has educated in master from Tehran University. He either received a second master's degree in mining projects economics and his doctorate, economics and management of mines, was done in Paris School of Mines (officially École nationale supérieure des mines de Paris in French) in 1999.
Dr. Sayadi is currently academic member of mining economics and Director of the mining department at Tarbiat Modares University. He is the founder of the mineral economics and management field in the country. Dr. Ahmad Reza Sayadi has 8 years of experience in industry and 17 years of teaching and research in university, in addition to representing scientific consulting to industries.
* The Central Council of Iranian Mining Engineering Organization consists of 11 people and its duration is 3 years. The General Board selects 7 people out of its own members and introduced 8 persons out of the General Board members or other members of the Organization to the Minister of Industries, Mines and trades, and then the Minister in turn select 4 people out of them. The number of the members of Central Council from different fields is in this arrangement: Mining 4 people, Geology 3 people, Extractive Metallurgy 2 people, and Surveying 2 people
